Hello my fashionistas! I had the opportunity to intern with showroom Two Twelve from New York during swim week in Miami. I worked with amazing designers during the swim show and helped backstage for Sinesia Karol’s runway show. I even got the chance to attend the For Love and Lemons and Maaji runway shows. It was an amazing experience and I can’t wait for what the future has in store for my career in the fashion industry!

Hello my stylish readers, I am so excited to tell you about my trip to the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. My best friend, Andrea and I, have been planning to visit Villa Vizcaya for like EVER and finally we both had a chance to drive down to Miami to see this beautiful place.
Villa Vizcaya was built between 1914-1922. It is now officially known as “Vizcaya Museum and Garden”. The Estate consists of 50 acres with the villa and the gardens, and the remaining native forest. It was owned by James Deering, an industrial executive in the family Deering Harvester Company, as well as an antiquities collector. Vizcaya was one of his hard work’s throughout his life that he was very passionate about and was also his winter home between 1916 until he passed away in 1925.
Here are a few pictures we took of Vizcaya, along with our outfits I styled to match the theme of the day ;) Unfortunately I could only get pictures of the garden as there were no pictures allowed in the house.
To shop our look, scroll to the bottom of the post.
Enjoy! PS. If you ever get a chance, I recommend exploring the beautiful Villa Vizcaya, as well as eating at their cafe which has an amazing frappuccino.
Now that spring break is coming to an end, I will start getting ready for summer and of course all the swimsuits I am going to need to buy and I’m sure so will the rest of you! :) My best friend Andrea and I just got back from our 3 day road trip where we ended up visiting Daytona Beach, which was absolutely amazing! In the pictures below, I am wearing a one piece from Volcom with ripped washed out boyfriend jeans from Pacsun and Dior sunnies. Andrea is wearing a one piece from Urban Outfitters and ripped denim jeans from Nasty Gal. I am still looking for the perfect bikini and have not yet found one that I love, but as I’ve been searching, I have found a new obsession for one piece swimsuits. I never thought I felt good wearing a one piece, especially since I’m 5’1 and I envy girls who have legs for days and rock them so well. I was also on the swim team back in high school and thought they were nothing but uncomfortable and far from sexy, but as I’ve grown to become comfortable in my own skin, I’ve found that it is infact comfortable and sexier than being in a bikini it self. They have become a big trendsetter and ANYONE can look sexy wearing a one piece just as much as they can look sexy in a bikini.
I’ve posted some of my favorite one piece swimsuits I thought you would love just as much as I do at the bottom of my post!
Gone are the days when One piece swimsuits were only for sports or for girls who were body conscious, but now are trendier than bikini’s themselves. Here are some one piece swimsuits that designers have flooded the swim market with and made us die for these beautiful and sexy styles!
Nasty Gal On the Tight Side Bandage Swimsuit – Blush (comes in white and black as well)
I have no words for this swimsuit. ABSOLUTELY SEXY.
Stone Cold Fox x Beach Riot The Coqui Plunging Swimsuit
How chic is this swimsuit? I loved how they paired it with a biker jacket. Its the perfect one-piece to wear to the beach, or pair it with jeans and go clubbing :)
Lee + Lani The Hibiscus Mesh Swimsuit
This is my favorite look. I love everything mesh, and the fact that they make mesh swimsuits is just fantastic. If this style suits you, why not rock it to a pool party, or pair it with shorts or ripped jeans and wear it to a festival!
Bahamas One Piece (PALM)
This is THE swimsuit to wear to any tropical place in the world. Planning my trip back to Jamaica, and this swimsuit is first on the list.
Mimi One Piece (INK BLACK)
Thank you Selena Gomez and the Hadid sisters for making a black one-piece swimsuit sexier than ever. It is now a must have in any girls swimsuit collection.
It’s the first day of fall and I couldn’t feel any happier than I am right now. And not because the leaves change or because it gets cold but if you’re a fashion guru like I am, you would know we wait impatiently for this season to come each year. It’s the season that we get to take out our boots, wear dark colors, and cover ourselves with layers on top of layers. It’s the one season we get to just basically wear more clothing. This Fall, Velvet, Vintage tees and Denim are everywhere we look. Three staple pieces that are must-haves and I promise will change your wardrobe. And if you live in a warm weather climate during fall, these are the perfect pieces to wear and still stay cool.
Here I am wearing a black jeweled choker to go with my black over the top glitter boots. If you know me I’m obsessed with glitter. I decided this Grateful Dead vintage tee would be perfect with my luxury velvet co-ord pleated wide leg trousers because vintage is back and will always be cool. And to finish the outfit, cat eye sunglasses to look chic and A Gucci crossbody used as a clutch. Andrea, aka my best friend, is wearing a distressed choker to go with her oversized distressed denim button down. I styled her in black distressed skinny jeans to go with her oversized shirt and leopard print loafers to give it a more sleek look. She’s carrying a white Henri Bendel uptown satchel that compliments her very retro white cat eye sunglasses.

Hey everyone welcome to my looks of the day! Andrea and I went to Boca Town Center for a girls day out with coffee and shopping. When I woke up the morning of, I texted Andrea asking if I could style her for our girls day out. Obviously she said yes(she trusts my styling). I don’t know about you, but my outfit always has to be perfect. Starting from my hair, all the way down to my shoes.
I am the type of fashionista that is always experimenting with different styles of clothing. I haven’t found my own unique look. Everyday I always try new different ways to create an outfit. So in some way maybe that is my own unique look, always looking uniquely different. But I do always make sure I look fashion forward. My outfit for the day, I decided to have wavy short curls to go with my daring style. My hair is the first thing I do when I start getting ready. If you don’t do your hair according to your outfit, you’re just left unfinished. Then I chose to wear my LF oversize white blouse paired with a black skinny waist belt from Forever 21, boyfriend jeans from Topshop, Jeffery Campbell leather Lita boots and my blue Carolina Herrera purse. I am also wearing a small turquoise stone necklace and chunky rings. The last thing I always put on is my make up. Just like your hair, you have to combine it with what kind of style you are pursuing for the day. For my boho look, I chose light neutral make up. You can’t tell in the pictures but I am wearing a nude lipstick from Revlon called “Notting Hill Nude”. And while I walk outside or take pictures to block the sun, I chose my Dior so real gold sunnies.
While thinking of Andreas outfit, I knew I needed to style her free spirited personality. Andrea has always trusted my styling tips and no matter what outfit I choose for her she always rocks it perfectly. She is the perfect model/best friend to play Barbie with. (Thank you Andrea for always supporting me and letting me be your own personal stylist!) For our day out, I made sure she had long curly locks to go with her “oversize load of boho” look and her burgundy Forever 21 fedora to fit right on top. I chose her LF long and colorful kimono, along with a green tank from Forever 21 to pick up the colors in her kimono, and ripped skinny jeans from Hollister Co., with brown booties from LF. She is also wearing her big chunky necklace from LF and her authentic Cartier love bracelet and carrying around her Tory Burch brown satchel. She is also wearing neutral make up to give her a natural look.
I hope you enjoy our looks for the day and are able to go out and shop the look to create your own unique style! xoxo.
As summer beings to end, we start to get ready for the best season yet, Fall. Well at least it’s my favorite season. And as I ask myself why Fall is my favorite season, I begin to think about all the fabulous clothing during this time of the year that designers have created for us to wear. Firstly, the dark colors: black, burgundy, gray, and a never ending variety of all different shades of brown. Plus, during the 2015 NYFW (New York Fashion Week), there were also bright shades of colors like emerald green and deep blues. Second reason, Fall is the beginning of the fur and bootie season. At last, I can step out of sandals and into my black boots. And last but not least, we get to wear the most stylish outfits with layers on top of layers (well if you are lucky enough to live in a cold climate area).
Leather jackets, fur coats, collard sweaters, shirts and dresses (my favorite) and tights are probably the best pieces to wear during fall and winter. In my first post, I mentioned that I wanted to live in New York. I am literally a wannabe New Yorker living in a hot, humid climate state who was also born and raised in two third world country’s that were also very hot and humid. All I’ve ever wanted was to live in a state (preferably New York) where it isn’t hot during fall and winter, so I can wear what I was born to wear. But the fashionista in me is still prepared with Fall clothes. Luckily, it does get down to the 60’s (Fahrenheit) during Christmas time here in Florida. But no way, will a state stop me from wearing the perfect Fall wardrobe, along with it’s perfect colors.
My best friend and I went and had a fun photoshoot around Delray Beach to show you all some of the fashion forward ways to wear Fall clothes. During this season, my favorite color to wear is burgundy. I created two outfits composed of everything I love to wear and I even made sure we were both splashed with a little bit of burgundy.
My two “wannabe” New Yorker Fall looks.
My model Andrea is wearing a burgundy fedora from Forever 21, a jeans jacket from American Eagle, little black dress from Topshop, a chunky silver necklace from Charlotte Russe, cut-out tights from Urban Outfitters, black heeled booties from Tory Burch and carrying a Chanel quilted purse.
I, myself, am wearing black Miu Miu sunnies, a black leather jacket from Abercrombie, a black and white striped button down collard blouse from H&M, a chuncky black necklace from Francesca’s , burgundy cropped and torn jeans from LF, tuxedo shoes by Rebecca Minkoff and carrying a Kate Spade black quilted purse.
Here are a few more pictures of my “wannabe” New yorker.
I guess we’ll practice walking around for when we move to New York…
Up close and personal…
Here are a few more other ways to style your wardrobe. These are all trends shown during the 2015 NYFW Fall collection.
1. Fur sleeves – If you live somewhere freezing, this is the perfect trend that has graduated from bags, to shoes and the collar, all the way to your sleeves! Perfect for keeping your hands and arms warm:)
2. Floor length coats – From a coat that started out by ending at your knees, it has transformed even longer, leaving a bold statement along with it, as it’s nearly touching the ground! Get ready for that fashion forward street style you’ve always wanted.
3. Cool pastels – Like I said, during the 2015 NYFW, not only were there bold colors like brown and gray, but there were cool pastel colors such as, pinks, deep blues, lavender etc. They are the perfect shades of pastel to begin the season that’s all about the cold.
4. PLAID – My all time favorite wardrobe piece. There’s just something about plaid and Fall that go perfectly together. Each year designers create new patters using old one’s to re-image the look in different ways.
5. High – waist pants/ Pant suits – How feminine are suit pants? As well as high-waist pants that will make you feel even sexier. Both tucked with a blouse and a cropped jacket will make these two silhouettes just want you want to wear during this season.
6. Oxfords/Loafers – Casual, yet fashionably stylish, oxfords and loafers will be your go-to shoes once Fall begins. They are suitable for both formal and casual wear and will go with almost everything.
Thank you for reading and I hope this helps with putting together your perfect Fall wardrobe! If you have anything you’d like to contribute please feel free to leave a comment :) xo.
