Happy October

Ever since I moved to Florida, I have always wanted to go to a pumpkin patch and finally 5 years later, I made it. Halloween is definitely my favorite holiday all year round (I know it’s not really considered a holiday but in my world it is). There’s nothing I miss more than going trick-or-treating. Senior year of high school I told myself it would be the last time I could go around trick-or-treating with friends without looking too crazy. My freshman year of college I went to a party and I’m pretty sure I would have had more fun going around collecting candy rather than partying with drunk college kids my age. I am a kid at heart and it’s a good thing I still look like one too:) Oh and going pumkin picking is probably just as fun as going house to house and getting candy. Like I said Halloween is my favorite holiday.

Here is how my best friend and I spent our day at a pumkin patch farm. PS.. they had a bomb farmers market that made me want to go grocery shopping and buy yummy fruits and vegetables, as well as a cool corn maze through 3 Acres of land. If you ever get a chance, check out Bedner’s Farm Fresh Market.

Vintage daydream

Hello my stylish readers, I am so excited to tell you about my trip to the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. My best friend, Andrea and I, have been planning to visit Villa Vizcaya for like EVER and finally we both had a chance to drive down to Miami to see this beautiful place.

Villa Vizcaya was built between 1914-1922. It is now officially known as “Vizcaya Museum and Garden”. The Estate consists of 50 acres with the villa and the gardens, and the remaining native forest. It was owned by James Deering, an industrial executive in the family Deering Harvester Company, as well as an antiquities collector. Vizcaya was one of his hard work’s throughout his life that he was very passionate about and was also his winter home between 1916 until he passed away in 1925.

Here are a few pictures we took of Vizcaya, along with our outfits I styled to match the theme of the day ;) Unfortunately I could only get pictures of the garden as there were no pictures allowed in the house.

To shop our look, scroll to the bottom of the post.

Enjoy! PS. If you ever get a chance, I recommend exploring the beautiful Villa Vizcaya, as well as eating at their cafe which has an amazing frappuccino.

Style at sea

Now that spring break is coming to an end, I will start getting ready for summer and of course all the swimsuits I am going to need to buy and I’m sure so will the rest of you! :) My best friend Andrea and I just got back from our 3 day road trip where we ended up visiting Daytona Beach, which was absolutely amazing! In the pictures below, I am wearing a one piece from Volcom with ripped washed out boyfriend jeans from Pacsun and Dior sunnies. Andrea is wearing a one piece from Urban Outfitters and ripped denim jeans from Nasty Gal. I am still looking for the perfect bikini and have not yet found one that I love, but as I’ve been searching, I have found a new obsession for one piece swimsuits. I never thought I felt good wearing a one piece, especially since I’m 5’1 and I envy girls who have legs for days and rock them so well. I was also on the swim team back in high school and thought they were nothing but uncomfortable and far from sexy, but as I’ve grown to become comfortable in my own skin, I’ve found that it is infact comfortable and sexier than being in a bikini it self. They have become a big trendsetter and ANYONE can look sexy wearing a one piece just as much as they can look sexy in a bikini.

I’ve posted some of my favorite one piece swimsuits I thought you would love just as much as I do at the bottom of my post!

Enjoy xoxo

Gone are the days when One piece swimsuits were only for sports or for girls who were body conscious, but now are trendier than bikini’s themselves. Here are some one piece swimsuits that designers have flooded the swim market with and made us die for these beautiful and sexy styles!

Nasty Gal On the Tight Side Bandage Swimsuit – Blush (comes in white and black as well)

I have no words for this swimsuit. ABSOLUTELY SEXY.

Stone Cold Fox x Beach Riot The Coqui Plunging Swimsuit

How chic is this swimsuit? I loved how they paired it with a biker jacket. Its the perfect one-piece to wear to the beach, or pair it with jeans and go clubbing :)

Lee + Lani The Hibiscus Mesh Swimsuit

This is my favorite look. I love everything mesh, and the fact that they make mesh swimsuits is just fantastic. If this style suits you, why not rock it to a pool party, or pair it with shorts or ripped jeans and wear it to a festival!

Bahamas One Piece (PALM)

$ 210.00

This is THE swimsuit to wear to any tropical place in the world. Planning my trip back to Jamaica, and this swimsuit is first on the list.

Mimi One Piece (INK BLACK)

$ 210.00

Thank you Selena Gomez and the Hadid sisters for making a black one-piece swimsuit sexier than ever. It is now a must have in any girls swimsuit collection.

“Fall” back to the classics

It’s the first day of fall and I couldn’t feel any happier than I am right now. And not because the leaves change or because it gets cold but if you’re a fashion guru like I am, you would know we wait impatiently for this season to come each year. It’s the season that we get to take out our boots, wear dark colors, and cover ourselves with layers on top of layers. It’s the one season we get to just basically wear more clothing. This Fall, Velvet, Vintage tees and Denim are everywhere we look. Three staple pieces that are must-haves and I promise will change your wardrobe. And if you live in a warm weather climate during fall, these are the perfect pieces to wear and still stay cool.

Here I am wearing a black jeweled choker to go with my black over the top glitter boots. If you know me I’m obsessed with glitter. I decided this Grateful Dead vintage tee would be perfect with my luxury velvet co-ord pleated wide leg trousers because vintage is back and will always be cool. And to finish the outfit, cat eye sunglasses to look chic and A Gucci crossbody used as a clutch. Andrea, aka my best friend, is wearing a distressed choker to go with her oversized distressed denim button down. I styled her in black distressed skinny jeans to go with her oversized shirt and leopard print loafers to give it a more sleek look. She’s carrying a white Henri Bendel uptown satchel that compliments her very retro white cat eye sunglasses.

All about street style

Street style has definitely become just as important as the runway shows during fashion week. Not only do the runway models inspire us with beautiful new designs but now celebrities, models, bloggers, and editors inspire us with fashion on the street. It is one of my favorite things to see during Fashion Week because I just love knowing what’s trending and who is wearing what.

Milan fashion week street styles are definitely my favorite so far. From bloggers Chiara Ferrgani and Kristina Bazan, to editor and creative consultant for Vogue Japan (Anna Dello Russo) every outfit was absolutely perfectly styled and inspirational! Eyes turned away from the runway and onto the streets.

Because I fell in love with all the street style looks during Milan Fashion Week, I decided to put together my own.

Kate Spade Fall Wardrobe

All about the plaid

There is absolutely nothing I love more than plaid during Fall. It has a way of warming not only our hearts but our wardrobe. Each year designers remake this awesome print into something totally different. I go crazy for plaid once the new season begins just because it’s the print to be seen in. August has come to an end and we are leaving summer behind! So why not switch out our summer dresses and sandals for pieces that will prepare us for this new season. I’m ready with my boots, motorcycle jacket and of course everything I can think of that’s plaid.

Everyone loves their usual plaid flannel… But it does get boring so to spice it up why not try the print in different ways like a plaid dress, jumpsuit, trousers or even a skirt, just to make the look even trendier. Add on dark lipstick or eyeliner to give this look a wild side ;) like I said plaid can be boring at times so you wanna make it not so prim. And remember when wearing plaid make sure you look less like a school girl. Make your outfit trendy and fashion forward.

Here I am wearing my Kate Spade plaid griffin dress with my Jeffery Campbell boots all ready for my favorite season of the year :) Enjoy! Xo.

Life of a Kate Spade muse Part 2.

Outfit number three: Synna Pants and Denim.

The thing I love the most about Kate Spade is that I get to add my own touch to a Kate Spade look. Whatever I buy, I always make sure it’s something I’m going to wear not just at work, but outside as well.

When I first saw Kate Spades leafy Synna pants, I knew I had to get them. I have a thing for pants that are lose and flowy. (Is flowy even a word?) And since I live in Flordia where it’s hot and humid all year round, I can wear these cute pants all year round too. And the blouse I’m wearing… just another Kate Spade piece I HAD to get :) how cute is it paired with my Synna pants? Perfect summer look.

Denim Jacket: An important piece to have in your closet.

Demin Jackets go with almost anything. You’ll always look so 90’s and adorable when wearing one. But do not, I repeat DO NOT pair a denim jacket with denim jeans. Unless you are Britney Spears or Justin Timberlake, you won’t be able to pull it off. It’s a Fashion DON’T. And if you do, we can’t be friends(I’m kidding ;) or not).

The whole look:

Denim jacket: Forever 21

Blouse: Kate Spade

Necklace: Charolette Russe

Pants: Kate spade

Shoes: Steve Madden

Handbag: Kate spade

Life of a Kate Spade muse.

Muse: The source of inspiration

I never thought I would be a muse until I started working for Kate Spade. Everyday when I come to work I’m surrounded by what I love the most, fashion. And to be a Kate Spade muse you have to dress the part. Throughout the week I’ll be posting pictures of my everyday Kate Spade girl. Hopefully you’ll be inspired by my looks to create your own :)

Here are two of my favorite outfits:

1. There’s nothing like a swing dress to make you feel girly.

2. Collard sweaters are so chic, especially with a big bow to go with it.

Hey everyone welcome to my looks of the day! Andrea and I went to Boca Town Center for a girls day out with coffee and shopping. When I woke up the morning of, I texted Andrea asking if I could style her for our girls day out. Obviously she said yes(she trusts my styling). I don’t know about you, but my outfit always has to be perfect. Starting from my hair, all the way down to my shoes.

I am the type of fashionista that is always experimenting with different styles of clothing. I haven’t found my own unique look. Everyday I always try new different ways to create an outfit. So in some way maybe that is my own unique look, always looking uniquely different. But I do always make sure I look fashion forward. My outfit for the day, I decided to have wavy short curls to go with my daring style. My hair is the first thing I do when I start getting ready. If you don’t do your hair according to your outfit, you’re just left unfinished. Then I chose to wear my LF oversize white blouse paired with a black skinny waist belt from Forever 21, boyfriend jeans from Topshop, Jeffery Campbell leather Lita boots and my blue Carolina Herrera purse. I am also wearing a small turquoise stone necklace and chunky rings. The last thing I always put on is my make up. Just like your hair, you have to combine it with what kind of style you are pursuing for the day. For my boho look, I chose light neutral make up. You can’t tell in the pictures but I am wearing a nude lipstick from Revlon called “Notting Hill Nude”. And while I walk outside or take pictures to block the sun, I chose my Dior so real gold sunnies.

While thinking of Andreas outfit, I knew I needed to style her free spirited personality. Andrea has always trusted my styling tips and no matter what outfit I choose for her she always rocks it perfectly. She is the perfect model/best friend to play Barbie with. (Thank you Andrea for always supporting me and letting me be your own personal stylist!) For our day out, I made sure she had long curly locks to go with her “oversize load of boho” look and her burgundy Forever 21 fedora to fit right on top. I chose her LF long and colorful kimono, along with a green tank from Forever 21 to pick up the colors in her kimono, and ripped skinny jeans from Hollister Co., with brown booties from LF. She is also wearing her big chunky necklace from LF and her authentic Cartier love bracelet and carrying around her Tory Burch brown satchel. She is also wearing neutral make up to give her a natural look.

I hope you enjoy our looks for the day and are able to go out and shop the look to create your own unique style! xoxo.

The new face of Dior

Sofia Mechetner, only 14 years old is the new face of Dior. She led a parade of models at Christian Dior’s Paris fashion show during Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2015/2016 on July 6th. Sofia wore a sheer white gown and looked absolutely sophisticated. You wouldn’t have even thought she was just a 14 year old girl.

She is the new face of Dior’s fall collection and has the perfect look for it. According to Ben-Shosan she is unique, edgy, as well as beautiful. Here are a few photos from the show if you didn’t get a chance to see Sophia walk the runway looking absolutely stunning.

Adidas Superstar

All I’ve seen this summer are the black & white or all white Adidas Superstar 80’s shoes. From models, to actors, to people just like you and I wearing these old fashion sneakers. Adidas Superstar’s came out in 1969 and are making a combat almost 50 years later! Older than almost everyone who is wearing them, they are still going strong in 2015 as one of the most iconic sneakers. And not only do they have the original black and white, but have come out with a variety of different colors and themes that will go with your own unique style :) Even designer Jermey Scott and artist Ivan Beslic have joined with Adidas to create their own superstars inspired by their own style!

I recently purchased my own pair of the all white Superstar’s and I’m excited for them to come in so I can finally wear them! I don’t know about you but these will definitely be my go-to sneakers from now on.
